Caroll Tuttle, President
Before starting Business Data Solutions, Inc., Caroll worked at IBM Corporation. Having been exposed to a
vast array of complex IT problems, Caroll has a proven track record of understanding client pain points and
exposing areas of need. He has provided IT Security Auditing and HA/DR Solutions for many of his clients including
Banks, Hospitals, and State/Local Government Agencies. Caroll has provided his customers with real bottom-line
cost savings by assessing their needs and then providing solutions that were customized to meet their unique
requirements. He helped one manufacturing company save over $36,000 in IT spending on a single project. He
provided a solution to one of his manufacturing clients that reduced their nightly processing time by over 60%.
He also reduced the backup time from 2 hours to 40 minutes for a Public Sector client. Unlike most so-called
solution providers, Caroll is able to both sell and implement his solutions. This gives his clients a competitive
advantage when they make IT spending decisions, because they know that Caroll will provide a solution that meets

first Certified IBM System I Power6 Technical Specialists in the US. He holds certifications in both IBM Power

Mark Geiser, Services Manager
Mark Joined Business Data Solutions in the fall of 2008 as the manager of services. Mark brings 15 years experience
in selling business to business solutions with the attitude of continuously increasing customer satisfaction and
developing value-added products and services. Before Mark joined BDS, he worked as VP of operations for a local
custom home builder. Before that he managed the sales division for a privately held Florida based company,
specializing in commercial laundry energy management. For one of his clients, an international hospitality company,
Mark oversaw the development and implementation of an energy management system to track production and costs which aided
managers in lowering wasteful energy consumption. Before energy management, Mark held several sales and manager
positions for a Fortune 500 document management company. Chef Mark as some call him, still has a cooking passion for
friends and family. He holds 2 ACF bronze metals for food competitions. Mark’s extensive background fosters his
ability to think out side of the box and offer real solutions that help customers solve daily business problems.
Mark lives in Hickory, NC with his wife Shawn (his college love) and has three sons, Zachary, Zane, and Jake, who are
his legacy of love. |

Michael Courtner, Business Development Specialist
Michael joined Business Data Solutions in December 2009. He brings a diversified
background with 22 years of technical experience across a broad base of industry.
Michael’s prior experience was providing technical design solutions and
implementations for multi-location organizations in the manufacturing and retail
industry. His focus with Business Data Solutions is supporting customers' needs and
requirements and assisting in providing cost effective technology solutions.

Rob Baker, Systems Engineer
Rob been working in the technical field for 19 years and became a Microsoft Engineer
in 1997. Since then, he has become proficient in many different areas that include
Network Security, Threat Management, Server Consolidation, and Administration. One
of Rob's most memorable projects was with a company that had 27 locations spread across
North Carolina. Each location was isolated from other offices and each had their own set
of applications and data. Rob was able to bring all locations together in a secure WAN
environment. Rob then designed a VMware cluster and by running Terminal Services
was able to have all applications and data located in one place that was accessible
by everyone at all locations. After the project was complete, the customer was able
to eliminate a server from each location and the IT department was reduced to one
technician. Estimated savings for this customer was $147,000 a year. |

Jason Robbins, Applications Developer / Systems Engineer
Before joining Business Data Solutions Jason worked for a large, multinational company that manufactured fiber
optic cables. Jason has designed and implemented solutions for a wide variety of clients including banks, health
care organizations, manufacturers, and not-for-profit organizations. Jason has the expertise to help his clients
save money on IT expenses by identifying areas for improvement, then designing a solution based upon proven
technologies. Jason helped one client cut their nightly backup times from 10 hours to less than 7. Jason also
helped a client improve their security by implementing up-to-date equipment and standards-based security practices.
Jason has also worked with several school systems to leverage existing technologies while giving the local schools
better access to that school's financial information. Jason has expertise in email management, spam filtering, as
well as custom applications development on several platforms. Jason and his wife, Angela, live in Lenoir, NC with their three children Levi, Caleb, and Jacob.

Dennis Moody, Systems Engineer
Dennis Moody joined Business Data Solutions with over 23 years of experience in the IT field. He has focused his career specifically in the Information Systems Security Field and gained vast knowledge in his roles as an Information Security Officer, a Data Center Manager, and as a senior member of an Information Security Architecture Team responsible for creating, testing, implementing, monitoring and auditing the Information Security Architecture in the Banking Industry. He also has experience in the Outsourcing Enterprise area, in the position of a Security Information Security Consultant and Auditor.
Dennis is a Systems Engineer, Information Security Consultant and Auditor for Business Data Solutions. He received his BA from UNC Charlotte and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) - (Non-Practicing), and a Silver Member with Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Darren Woods, Systems Engineer
Darren Woods, a home-grown resident of Caldwell County, joined Business Data Solutions in August of 2010. He attended East Tennessee State University and graduated with a degree in Accounting in 1991. He worked in public and private accounting before being hired as a Network Administrator in 1995 for an automotive company. One of his major accomplishments was in 1999 for becoming Y2K compliant, he migrated a Novell Network to a Microsoft NT environment for 450 total users in Detroit, MI; Indianapolis, IN; and Newton, NC. Darren also played a significant role in a corporate active directory rollout for a major furniture company based out of Michigan in 2003. Darren has over 15 years of technical experience. He enjoys working with others and making new friends. His diverse background and certifications in Novell, WatchGuard, Microsoft, and Symantec provides his clients insight when evaluating business procedures and streamlining IT processes which positively impacts the bottom-line.
Darren has been married to his wife Stacey, also from Lenoir, for 20 years. They have a 19 year old son, Seth, and a 15 year old daughter, Taylor. He enjoys golf, classical music, reading and church activities in his spare time.

Garry Lewis, Sr. Systems Engineer
Garry joined BDS in December 2010 bringing weathered experience as an administrator of 250+ node networks since 1996. With proven skills as a network administrator for local government and as an Administrator / IT Manager of 14 years for area manufacturing companies helped foster Garry's curiosity with enterprise solutions. With broad experience in every business system like servers, networking, storage, voice and backup systems affords Garry a keen insight into creating disaster recovery solutions and safeguarding data. In 2001, Dana Corporation awarded Garry the highest score in an IT Systems audit out of over 200 facilities in the entire United States. Garry enjoys teaching and explaining technology in a way that simple and demonstrates a clear answer to real business problems. |

Lisa Pritchard, Administration
Lisa was a college student when she started working part time for Business Data Solutions, Inc. After finishing college she become a full time employee taking an administrative role in the company. Lisa had some experience working with accounts receivable prior to coming to BDS. Lisa performs administrative tasks as well as accounts receivable. She helped one manufacturing company save $1,577 on one project. Lisa will look for cost savings when invoicing customers. She also performs many back-end support functions which allow engineers to stay focused on their customers. Lisa has a paralegal degree and is also a Notary Public.
